Naomi will then arrange an initial telephone consultation to discuss the nature of the dispute, the mediation process, who might be invited to attend, where the mediation will be, time needed and costs. If mediation goes ahead, a telephone conversation will be arranged with each party. Initial telephone discussions are not charged for. After speaking, each participant is invited to sign a Mediation Agreement which will detail the process and costs.
Costs are often shared equally by the participants, who pay in advance. The cost of work/employment mediation is, however, usually met by the employer.
